World's Greatest Decisions

World's Greatest Decisions

A Poem by limbalring

heart door open

mine

molting, cracking weary crusts

shedding no’s

nights of obscurity

insecurity

your words chisel

world’s greatest decisions

with each breath

knock the dominoes

down the line

in their wake

beauty rises

breathing in life anew

with the reverberations

of yes

beautiful scars

let me know

to love you

knowing the pains

that etched them

better than most

shutting them out

with ink

knowing the scars

wanting to remove them

release you

give you

peaceful vision

absolution

knowing i can’t

instead

let you breathe

in your space

your time

your way

only you

can make you

who you

really are

all I know

is this

your beauty astounds

and

when i think of my future

you’re it

I like the way you express desire and emotion. The statement allow the reader to think and ponder each line. So many statement stood out in this poem. Hard to pick the best.

a lucky person indeed. Just having some who wants to take away scars, emotional or physical is a helluva promise to make. But even in the end the realization that you have to let that person do things on their own is hugely important. You have a lot of love here that I'm sure is returned. You keep pushing that beautiful vision and the dumbs that you wrote this for will get it eventually. If not, give him a quick swat in the chops...that should do it
