HER OWN GAITEY

HER OWN GAITEY

A Poem by Gorati supraja

Those little legs running through the fields
In this late evening, she ran along the zephyr
The red ribbon failed from her plaits started swirling with the air
Her dark brown dress embraced this air and gave her tickles all around
Those watered eyes for the search of something
She followed the rhythms of her heart
Somewhere far she can see that sun drowning down
Those passing clouds made her feel "come with me, I'll show you the way"
She is sprinting to reach the end of the sky
She ran and ran until she was stumbled
She gave a sigh and sat on the ground
She looked around to share her angst
She took a breath and looked at the skies
She lifted those tiny dusted hands and sensed her cool, mushy cheeks
She beautifully smiled at that moment to the skies, to the fields,to the mountains, to the wind and to herself.
It's a smile which shows that she owns this nature and this nature owns her.
