Fail to click A young one Tender, soft n pure Always, look up For support, others’ lead I remember even now It was dawn, Just about Elder brother yelling Hey! Come on over Being the youngest I was ready to oblige In fact waiting, willing Seeking, an opportunity He was double my age I had just crossed 6 “Hey! Look here!” It was a quarter $ A reward “6 pence” Prove smart, to trick Some one, with the quarter Take this quarter Walk over to the shop Make a small buy Few pence, Peanuts! He warned me Be careful, don’t mess up! Keep the quarter Crown’s face top up I ran over Bought with pleasure My little dream eat The lady returned change Something wrong! The lady was furious Yelling n abusive I was frightened Taking back nuts n change Reprimanding me, she yelled Go away, don’t ever Dare this again!! I never heard what she said Forced her return my quarter Else, my brother sure would Beat me up, for a bad job done Later, I learnt What went wrong! Why the deal Fail to click! What my brother gave Wasn’t a quarter In fact a pence Concealed inside silver foil Well rubbed n polished The Crown head looked Like a real quarter With all glow silver P A L Poem n Video by Pal 40.Fail to click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X68UlDRqB-w
