Return Struggle

 
Life a journey

Mostly forward

Seeking, growing

Understanding more

 

Interactions outwardly

With all in family

At school, with friends

Work place and elsewhere

 

Mind under constant stimulation

Senses bombarded from outside

Breaking the ego  

Making stronger at times

 

A moment in life

Question all will face

Is the journey taken

In the right direction!

 

Life in itself is big play

Each one takes roles

Without realizing

They are no audiences

 

You are here for yourself

None else traveling along

Others here are mirrors

For seeing yourself

 

Journey is not outbound

But backward to yourself

All worlds are with in you

World outside help you see

 

Return isn’t easy

A great struggle

As if many brakes

Acting at once

 

Senses strike back

Love-blind outer world

Your mind drags you

Linger on sweet memories

 

Ignoring all wise thoughts

Like a stubborn child

Ego will make last attempt

Stopping you at any cost

 

Greatest obstacle to tranquility

Separates individual from unity

With others and within oneself

Subdue Ego, make journey smooth
