Why I am here!

Who am I!

Why I am here!

What I do here!

Where I am going!

Many left perplexed

When some one asks

Your purpose please!

Sigh! My god! Who knows!!

Classic questions

everyone muses over

Few struggle lives

Finding answers

Some give up looking

Caught up in routines

Others get to the roots

Discover their worth

Many know clear

Why are they here

For their loved ones

Mother, love or child

Some feel its money

Others say it happiness

Few are for all Humans,

 Pets and nature

Whatever be you search

Answers are always within

Only in great distress

You move in there

Search with mind open

Know you are not alone

Part of something

Stronger and powerful

You are a link

Like others are

In a cosmic chain

Make or break Ego decides

While drawing its own

Each link gives strength

To others in link with

A symbol of co-existence

Awareness of self

Half the battle

Few hops more end with

“Awareness peak”

Very cool and thought provoking!

Your purpose please!
Sigh! My god! Who knows!!

I pictured standing at Heaven's Gate and being asked that! Either that or a busy airport! I cracked up.

Unfortunately this seems to be me...

Some give up looking
Caught up in routines...

Great job.

The eternal questions that we strive to find an answer, yet never quite do. This a well written piece and with your work a very deep work that forces one to think. Nice work.

this is written well enough, and poses a truly interesting question. Of course this is something that could spark world wide debate lol. Personally I feel if something makes you happy in the present then that is your purpsoe, until of course you move on and find something else. It all depends upon the individual for sure. Your presentation of this topic is just spot on in my opinion, welldone my friend.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us Pal!

There are some lines in this that just don't make since. It looks as if you purposely left out words to me a count, but it hurt the peace. ex: "What I do here?" Other than that I think the piece was relatively well written.

deep thoughts for me on a Saturday morning; so caught up in day to day survival, now I must ponder yet another question with no answer, thanks lol. very introspective and philisophical question, put into beautiful phrases, making the asking easier. lovely.

Yes Pal it's the age old question isn't it? I personally believe that we are here to procreate and to show God what our hearts are capable of. Loving and taking care of our families, that's what it's all about, but it's just my opinion...I like the way you set this out using color and small stanzas.
Cheers to you,
