Poem n Video by Pal. Hesitantly I moved on; Not knowing for sure; My purpose was clear though; To become a confident, patient, ; Rational, matured, balanced one;Moving in a path to search; Light in darkness-happiness.

"

LOVELY ME

Very small, delicate, helpless,

Always crying, making dirty myself

The clothes I wore, the bed I sleep

And all the places I move about

Yet all took me, did all helping me

Loved me, touched me, cared me

All the time eager to make me feel good

So nice people around me

I started feeling beauty the world

Then I said to myself

“You are ok, I am not”

I was helpless and weak

Unable to move beyond

Highly sensitive and possessive

In a state of imbalance an introvert

I wanted to move out of myself

In to the world outside seeking

Exploring being creative, adventurous

Trying to become an extrovert so to say

It was thrilling to feel independent

Moving about freely

Knowing the secrets of life

The pains and hidden pleasures

Asked many questions, whys

Challenging the age old practices

Made others feel not good

And raise their eye brows on me

How could you be this!

You were not taught this!!

What kind of education you got!!!

You are not the one we wanted!!!!

And they called me:

“You rebellious ignorant fool”

Then I said to myself

“I am ok, you are not”

Hesitantly I moved on

Not knowing for sure

My purpose was clear though

To become a confident, patient,

Rational, matured, balanced one

On my way I learnt

After all, all are like me

Moving in a path to search

Light in darkness-happiness

Then I said to myself

“I am ok, you too”

A sense of matured

Balanced View of life

I am moving on yet

I am not happy

Find myself not in balance

Still in my mind thoughts crop up

Some time “You are ok, I am not”

Yet other time “I am ok, you are not”

In extreme “Neither you nor I am ok

But I resist try to force myself

To bring in the thought

“I am ok, you too”

A sense of matured

Balanced View of life

But some where in my heart

In my conscience mind

An intuitive thought Spark out

Life is every moving situation

Anything that is moving

Can never be in balance

All efforts to balance

End up in sheer imbalance

“The wise ones accept life as is, where is basis”

Accepting what life throws our way, without knowing the answer to the question "why?" is hard indeed. This reflects a process of a spirit growing, maturing and learning throughout the trials of life; yet there will always be those moments of doubt that creep into one's soul. Nicely done.

Interesting and seemingly very imaginative. Each color seems to portray a meaning or express a different emotion.

It is nice to remember people from our past but we should never regret things as everything happens for a reason sometimes it is beyond our understanding and we are left with only questions but we have to remember it had to have happened for some reason. I like the heart that was felt here among your word and the truth of your soul that was exposed here.

Beautifully Done!~!!!!!

Has this poem really been here for seven months??? If so, I am sorry that I had not seen it before!
What a journey - the thoughts are both natural and also complex, the layers of understanding and self-realization building up as the poem goes on.
MY poor computer will not function with YouTube but just seeing the poem as it is written here, is enough. This is a very good work!

True. Imbalance is the only "true balance" life has. Chaos seems to rule over Order. Great exploratory write of the journey of a mind and life. A look into the belly of the beast so to speak. Kudos.

and these lines:

This was such a nice thought provoking piece. You actually forced me to pause a couple of times to reflect about what I have just read, which I personally love in a piece.
I have to say that this stanza really got my attention

Life is every moving situation
Anything that is moving
Can never be in balance

Brilliant thinking, I really liked it!
