Gone

Gone

A Poem by skye ૐ

To see him smile, was like catching a glimpse of a star for the last time before you into a big city.
Seconds later, you look up at the sky, only to see the city lights overwhelmingly staring back at you.
Your heart sinks into your stomach because the stars are all gone. His smile was all gone.
As you travel deeper into the city, you realize you won't be able to see the stars again that night.
All the beautiful stars you were looking at, became shooting stars that night. They disappeared.
When you go to see them the next night, they're gone.
Not a single star was in sight, and along with the stars, he's gone.
He will no longer smile. He will no longer breathe. He disappeared with the stars.

I would say don't get lost in your descriptions
And try to keep your meanings in sink with one another
I kinda got there are a lot of stars gone
A lot of other smiles are gone as well
But his is the one you remember the most
And his is the one you miss the most

Well, it's not really a bad way to go all things considered. :)
Beware the cosmic s**t rays
