Walking On Fire

Walking On Fire

A Poem by Dylan Cook

 Stepping on stones

 Feeling so alone

 Stepping on eggshells

 Living in my own hell

 Can't seem to break free

 From this web of misery

I seem to be walking on fire

But it's not a burning desire

I need to work on my sobriety

 Free myself from this misery

 There's too much drama now

I want to get out of it somehow

 Can't seem to break free

 From this web of misery

I seem to be walking on fire

But it's not a burning desire

We never desire to be miserable though somethimes we do seek misery... I have been there and it takes great effort to pull yourself up again but it can be done. I hope you are well.

Agree with the music, could be the start of some very good lyrics :)
But it is good standing alone as well...

Just sad to read your feelings like that :s

this could very well be put to music, I think.
Reminds me of the Beatles, or Bob Dylan, or something.
Something classic, timeless.
Well written.
