The storm.

C'est la vie.

There is clarity in the midst of this hurricane fever
An eye wall of colors and shapes
And impassioned ambiguous dayglow hearts burning weathered fire
Disband the sickness;
The chaos rages, roars
Consumes, it ebbs and flows
It binds but it frees,
It protects from the storm,
But it is the storm itself
And I am putting my raincoat on.

A somewhat ironic sort of poem Gonzologic. I actually had to go back and read it a couple of times to fully understand it, but don't be confused by this comment. That is a good thing. Sort of like Frost's "The Road Not Taken." I found it a very true poem in the sense that sometimes our good things in life that shield us from the bad actually are painful as well. I look forward to reading more from you.
