Audacity

Audacity: rude or disrespectful behavior; impudence. I love the word audacity, my friend used it the other day, I didn't know what it meant so I searched it up. It is a beautiful word. Love poem.

Audacity

You have the audacity to cheat,
You have the audacity to lie.
You have the nerve to be indiscreet,
To play mockery until I cry.

You have the audacity to flirt,
You have the audacity to hug.
Your actions have inflicted hurt,
You just stand there and force a shrug.

You have the audacity to blame me,
You have the audacity to become mad,
You go roaming around for others to see,
And leave me lonely there, and sad.

You have the audacity to ignore,
You have the audacity to act.
I’ve seen your true self down to your core,
And our relationship is now cracked.

I like the usage of rhyme. It holds a child-like thought, but contains mature feeling. It is an interesting combination, but it plays well together. Keep up the good work.
