A Poem by gomomoko

gradually, as time shifts, so does my heart.

in a perpetual state of nausea, we are forced

to become a marching, faithful band

of brothers?
of enemies.

hark!, where did my peers go?
they scattered at the sound of the sirens and the

sight of the rotten food that feeds their bellies.

tap, tapping fingers on a meaningless plastic key.
just as useful as a scribbling on a paper.

go now
from here
where you can
find yourself
in the same position you were hoping to escape.
