"

not so much a poem as just a rambling

"

I am a morphed product of my generation. A monster who only wishes to breed with other monsters.  My dreams are pastel in color, violent sewage that seeps from my mouth and tells me that I could be something if I really tried. Suffocated by the emulating mass that are my peers, as they, with their greedy little eyes and wicked little teeth ravage and eat away the only parts of me that are left, and the rest begin to change. Those parts twitch and squeal, drip down and become them. A brainless body attached to a pixelated screen, of any sort. Eat, eat, eat it up children. We’re killing each other; an army of youth that was sent out to battle society came back kicking and screaming, ripping out each other’s necks in hopes to catch the eye of that cute little girl on drugs. There’s another one on the way. Another. Here she comes. Another. Ah, there he is. Destined forever to believe that they are different, and doomed forever to be exactly like one another. We are so full of hate because we hate ourselves.

20 years on this Earth and still haven't learned a damned thing. I suppose my writing reflects common thoughts one would have at this age, but that's not to say those thoughts should be dismissed. .. more..
