Perspective: English Assignment.

Perspective: English Assignment.

A Poem by Summer
"

We had to do an assignment on what we thought people thought of us. The first part is the 'unfavourable', then the second is the truth about that. The third is the truth about part four.

"

I.

Angry, lonely.

Bitter, confused.

Annoying,

Attitude,

Compulsive Liar.

Hatred,

Tardy,

In Trouble.

Weird,

Toeing the Line.

Crazy.

Borderline Insane.

II.

Anger makes war.

War makes Hatred.

Hatred makes normal

Men do Crazy, Insane things.

People are Compulsive.

Am I not a person?

Am I not able to

Feel what a person feels?

Alone, I am free to be

Myself,

no one to judge.

Being bitter is an

Attitude I have towards

My self for being

All the things I live against.

I hate Liars,

Being late,

And how peers can be

So criticizing.

And if you don’t

Like my crazy

Interior, you’re the

One making me

Toe the Line.

If you don’t like me,

At least do it to my

Insane face.

III.

To be free of all

Cares, and have a

Taste for life.

Telling all who want to

Know why I am so Happy.

Wanting to know why

I am always

There,

 Ready to Act

A part in a soap opera life.

What I feel inside may

Cause a curious, wondering

Eye to see that all they have

To do is ask.

I’ll give them a few

Points and Tips,

And let them know

I’ll return the favor

Of lending a helpful

Ear.

IV.

Freedom, wonder.

Optimism, pride,

Courage, alive.

Funny,

Challenging,

Excitement.

Caring,

Driving Force,

Amazement.

Ready for Action,

Advice Giver.

Listener.
