The Day Before Nightfall.

The Day Before Nightfall.

A Poem by Summer

The day before the darkest night of all,
The heart of the young child is torn.
She was only 16 years of age,
And to take out her rage,
She cuts herself into pieces,
Tiny little pieces.
She was to young to realize,
How much she has to live for,
Still too young to know,
How much death can hurt.
She want's her father to love her,
Her mother to care.
She does so much,
That even some people wouldn't dare.
Her teachers afraid for her life,
She can't be controlled.
Before she knew it,
Her plan was to late.
The plan that might of saved this child's life.
She might have lived to be 22 right now,
Had she not run away from home.
She can't have gone to far,
The police told her parents.
But she had got on a plane,
Not knowing that it will crash into the sea.
Lovely and loving,
Everyone said.
The one's who were only nice to her,
After she was dead.
