He

He

A Poem by goldie uttamchandani
"

Your relationship with faith

"

He is a cut from another fabric altogether

There is no need to distrust him

One handshake is as if he is putting on loan a limb

It’s hard to not believe in him

You can’t call him good

Or bad

His deeds speak for him

He does not believe in idle chat

It’s either this or that

On departure he will always wave his hat

A strange man he is

In code he speaks

He seeks to get nothing

But in turn gives you everything

We fight a lot

Yet it’s only each other we’ve got

He thinks I might lose him

But he knows he will never lose me

Cocky and confident he is you see

Goes missing for days

But has his eye on me he says

I’ve got your every heartbeat

I have your life’s balance sheet

He’s a bully because he always tells me the truth

I blame him when I’m sad

I thank him when I’m not

Oh God he must think I’m mad
