A Story by goldfishgirl
"

Loving a childhood toy.

"

He is only a toy, one I should have outgrown years ago and yet I can't bear to part with him.  Although he is old and not as soft as he used to be, although he has had to be repaired on more than one occasion I cannot bring myself to part with him.

So many childhood memories I see in his eyes: days at the beach, staying up late to read, cuddling him when I was scared or upset.   My whole life this toy is the only one I could always count on to love me without question.

And although I know it is silly he will always be one of my best friends.

Now there's a sweet story to witch I'm sure many can relate.
Your tender pure feelings of attachment to childhood memories are expressed perfectly in this very short spoken-word.

awww...worn like a child's cherished belonging...loved and treasured memories that it saw...like the velveteen rabbit that became real...thanks for sharing this, very sweet story.

Although short, this was really good. Just a couple grammar things I saw:
After "I see in his eyes," there should be a colon. Place a period after "scared and upset" and start "My whole life" as a new sentence.
Other than that, great!
