Malice in wonderland

Malice in wonderland

A Poem by Mad Hatter
"

A poem Inspired by American Mcgee's Alice

"

"Come play with us Alice"
"What is the matter, Alice my dear?"
"Why have you ruined the fun with your fear?"

Poor little Alice. All so sad and so alone…

"I'm still here buried in shadows."
"Still somewhere in the looking glass shown…"

Forgetting all about the joy and toys…
"But never about play and decoys…"

Locked away in the plain timeless room...
"A deadly, long journey she travels to save us all…"
"As time runs out that will lead to this world's doom…"

Too face the realness of reality...
"She must kill the enemies of her fantasy…"

Higher and higher she redeems from her numb soul…
"Falling and falling down the dark rabbit hole…"

To begin to show light again on her face…
"To a dark wonderland place…"

To move on from the home she once lived through…
"Returning to the home she once knew…"
"But I don't want to among mad people…"

We are all mad here…
"We are all mad here…"

But this is the place were we fix you Alice…
"This is the place where the Hatter tears you to madness…"

There shall not be anymore violence…
"Murder them all until this place is full of silence…"

Don't let the violence overtake your guilt…
"Murder is the only solution now..."

"And with the blade in her hand she sets off to the jabberwocky…"
"The next destiny in which is to be killed."

In order for poor dear Alice to move from this hospital bed…
"She must tear the red queen shred by shred…"

Oh, poor little innocent Alice…
"Oh, poor little deadly Malice…"

Although I have never played American McGee's Alice, I love your poem! Even if it doesn't make sense (which it didn't the first time I read it), it's still good, because it is written beautifully and with a touch of madness. After looking up the game the poem is based on, and reading Malice In Wonderland again, I understand the story it tells. I love the conflicting and contradicting statements (i.e. "There shall not be anymore violence…/ Murder them all until this place is full of silence…", which may seem a bit confusing at first, but make the poem interesting and really convey the madness expressed throughout the poem. Absolutely wonderful!
