Chapter 5

A Chapter by MusicandWritingFan
"

Iris finds out from Celisse's Mom, Mrs. Kipling that in order to go to Faeridom she must find a rare gold amulet.

"
"Oh my Gosh! Look at your face? You look just like a real fairy, only not small but like the fairy humans that exist in a mythical world called Faeridom." Celisse explained to me amazed.

"Actually that is what I want to talk to you about because I am a real life human fairy." I sat down on the big floral living room couch, Celisse and her Mother soon followed eagerly at what they had just heard.

Celisse's Mom squinted, "So you mean to say that you're a human fairy?" She stood up looking at me with amazement, then a mixture of disbelief; "but wait! Then why are you living on Earth, you are supposed to be living on Faeridom then. Why are you here?"

"I was bought here to live on Earth because when I was born my Mom was prohibited from seeing me face-to-face since she was possessed with a dangerous curse that could kill her if she looked at me."

Celisse went to the kitchen and came back with a plate of chocolate chip cookies, she sat down eagerly next to Iris waiting to hear more of this story, while Celisse's Mom went to the bookshelf to get a green old-looking hard-leather bound book that was rather fat. "I love really old books." She commented happily, a huge smile on her face while she skimmed through the book until she stopped at a page showing a vintage Victorian picture of a really beautiful female fairy human dancing around a field of flowers.

"You're story so closely reminds me of this really old legend that I have read so many times to Celisse when she was younger. It is the story about an eleven-year-old girl who meets two fairies outside Briar Forrest, the girl so mesmerized by the extreme beauty of those two fairies decided to follow them upon beckoning her to play with them, she touched them. Little did she know that she was enchanted by them and once she was in Faeridom she loved it, but was trapped in that world with no chance of escape, with no chance to return to Earth, and with no chance to see her family once more. She gained knowledge about the fairies and their world. Faeridom became her new home and over the years as she started growing up; fairy powers started appearing on her once she turned 18 years old. That girl's name is Marla and she is the direct descendant of human fairies."

"Do you have any fairy powers?" Celisse asked Iris.

"Yes, they are emotion reading, invisibility, costume charm, and future reading."

"Then you are really a fairy." She looked at me amazed, as well as Mrs.Kipling.

"Recently I have been hearing a voice, a male voice telling me that they need help and to go to Faeridom, but I didn't pay much attention to it, is it something grave?" I asked Mrs. Kipling, worried but by the alarmed look on her face I could see that it was not good.

"When a fairy human hears the voices of someone else, then that means that it is not good and that they are asking for your help."

I stood up from the couch were I was sitting, pacing back and forth across the room. Feeling yet again with no clue what to do.

"The only way that you can go to Faeridom is if you have a gold amulet with the tree of life engraved on it. Now that amulet is rare and hard to find, only a minimum few own such an amulet that can be valuable to use for transportation, power, and protection."

The sun was starting to set as we were silent for a while.

"Great so the only way I can go to Faeridom is if I find an amulet with the tree of life on it. Isn't there another way that I can go to Faeridom?" I asked her hopeful for another solution.

"I am afraid there is no other solution but that which I just mentioned to you a few minutes ago."

I decided to leave thinking that it will be impossible to do something so impossible, something that is so unreal, maybe, or not "Oh well, I guess I will have to find it myself then, which will be somehow complicated. Wish me luck you two." I told them as I left waving goodbye to Celisse and her Mom, Mrs. Kipling.
