Iris

Iris

A Poem by Sierra

She was beautiful
She was a Goddess
Not a Princess
She could light up a world
with smiles and giggles
She laughed
She danced
She shined
I loved everything about her
One day she was sad
Gloomy
She never been like this
What was it I thought
I looked out the window
It was pouring
She was depressed
Curled in a ball
My Goddess
Why this
It kept pouring
For hours
She wouldn't dance
She wouldn't smile
She wouldn't laugh
I wonder when will it end
All of a sudden
A beam of sunlight came out
I looked up and rubbed my eyes
It was gone
I went outside and looked up
There was a rainbow
With bright colors
I smiled
Oh, Iris
You know how everything ends
