Dark Room

Scared to sleep in the dark room,

All those thoughts come back to me like boom.

Got use to falling asleep to someone safe,

Because that someone makes me brave.

Now I feel like I am in the grave,

Where are you someone who makes me brave.

Without you my life feels like a doom,

I am all alone in the dark room.

That room makes me feel like very sad,

I understand that i was very bad.

Please safe person, please come back,

I will be so happy, I will make you glad.

Just simple phrase, I love you, will do fine,

So I could finish the sentance with the rhyme.

Thoughts in my head are like gloom,

Scared to sleep alone in the dark room.

Nicely written poem. I know what it feels like to have once had someone who made you feel safe, and then the 'fear' of having to spend the night alone in the cold, dark, desolate room.
