HIDDEN SMILEA Poem by sharmilasome people hide their happiness afraid to let it overpower them. You walked into the room, with a gaze so cold, making me wonder if it was winter, realizing that sometime's the beginning can be bitter. Time stopped for no one, as days turned to months, i drew close to you, hoping to unveil your mysteries. Little by little, i saw you in a different light, your words were as warm as your heart, and as beautiful as picasso's art. In every angle you smirk but never smile, in those moments where the camera misses is when you smile and bring laughter to another, and that's what it means to live in the moment, rather than capturing it by a lens. If beauty had a definition it would be that smile you hide, you let no one by your side, yet you're loved by many, what's more thrilling than living a life so mysterious and full of questions to be answered just like your's, cause what's life when you're not questioned for your being. All your imperfection and secrets , makes you more desirable. you fear of not being loved, not knowing you've got something more than love itself, put that hidden smile on your face, and you'll see a life that's different.
