Chapter 4 - Guns

As soon as Mario and Luigi had changed his news and life happenings with Sonic and Tails all four of them put the boxes down to the two boats and long and slow paddling way followed the four Rebels to the dock.  

Waluigi and Wario were standing on the dock with two yoshis attached to carts. Two beautiful tall dinosaurs curiously look around in the dark and wonder what they are doing out here in the dark. They both crouched little bit, bounced up and down to warm up their system. They seemed to know something the Rebel group was unaware of. Their light blue eyes moved nervously around and Luigi just wondered what these tall creatures saw with their eyes. They both had long necks squashed lightly and it gave expression of being alarmed. They had five red spikes on the top of their head and they almost went down on their backs. They had muscular bodies and sweet God their legs looked like they could’ve mashed a watermelon! They had short tail and strong nails.

Mario, Luigi, Peach and Daisy filled the cart with help of Wario and Waluigi and as soon as the boxes were inside the cart they started to lead the dinosaur into the way they wanted. All four had to walk at the side of the cart because it wouldn’t be fair if Luigi and Waluigi sat at the cart while Mario and Wario would’ve walked at the side of the cart, since they were too heavy for the yoshis to pull. EVEN though the yoshis were meant to be ridden with, the boxes and the cart were already slowing them little bit down.

Peach jumped on the cart and the other Yoshi screeched from the sudden change of weight. 

“Shush! You’re making a mess!” Waluigi growled. Peach just grinned back and opened one of the boxes with her crowbar. “Where did you get a crowbar?” Wario seemed puzzled. 

“Heh, I just picked it from the dock”, Peach smiled and picked up the shining black gun. The gun had sticker on the butt stock that said ‘Armalite AR-180’. Peach smiled as she held the gun. She felt immediate power in her hands and she let her fingers glide on the heavy gun. 

“Ah, this feels wonderful!” she smiled wide and took magazine from the box and attached it to the lower receiver and tried to aim the air. “Be careful with that ‘ye?” Mario glanced at Peach and felt little unsafe about her playing with the gun. Peach felt uncomfortable bubbling in her stomach and she just wanted to rip Mario apart. “I’m not a CHILD! I know what I’m doing. I studied these beasts before the takeover”, she snarled and rolled the gun in her hands examining it. “What?” Mario asked before Peach could answer, unluckily they heard the footsteps of the lumen guards and they came out from the next corner.

For a while the rebels and the guards stared each other and said no word, until Peach lift her gun and shot at the one lumen guard. The bullet went through the guard’s metal chest armor like a blade through paper. The bang that came from the gun surprised everyone and especially guards because they didn’t know what this powerful fire weapon was. Violet red substance oozed out of the dying guard who struggled on the ground and made gagging sounds and tried their best to gasp air into their emptying lungs.

For a while the guards stared at the corpse of their friend who was alive few seconds backwards. Peach aimed for the next guard and shot. The third one started shouting for help and Mario kicked the guard down and started beating their face in.

Wario and Waluigi kept the yoshis down from their reins and the tried to shush them, because yoshis weren’t the calmest creatures when they were in panic. “Let’s go!” Luigi shouted and pushed the carts and the yoshis started jogging forward. “Mario! Come!” Luigi screamed at Mario and Mario ran after the cart. More guards appeared behind buildings and Peach hopped out from the cart and started shooting the guards with her rifle. As Mario ran past Peach he took her from the back of her black coat, but Peach didn’t want to leave, so Peach flew onto ground dropping the gun next to her and Mario’s heart jumped to his throat. “Are you okay princess?” he yelled and lifted her light body onto his arms. “LET GO!” Peach screamed and struggled in his arms. “I can’t! We have to go!” Mario yelled and started running after the cart that was going forward.

One lumen guard ran up to the rifle on the ground and looked it curiously at it. This was the weapon that could kill the guards? This was something that needed to be shown to the queen.
