Maybe it won’t get better

Maybe my feelings are real and not some fairy tail I made up for attention.

Maybe I want to talk about them,

I want your help pulling my soul from this quicksand.

I have repressed them,

Held them in,

But now it is not me that is holding them in

Maybe I won’t understand

I am lost in the dark with no way out
