A History MemoirA Poem by Miss Sally SunshineA poem to my history teacher!! Including history!!! Not sure how I'm going to make this good...Past
The mighty general Jumps down from His stead
Barking out orders Encouragements, And raising spirits.
He arms his soldiers With spears, swords, And shields
Anything to help Win this timeless, tiresome battle
Yet already tired, The adrenaline Flows through
Infecting the army With confidence To go in fearless
The tough general Has the most Adrenaline
Knowing that this battle, Coming out victors or rabbles Is all by his doing, all his choices
The general remounts Knowing he's done his best, Charges into battle, ready.
Present
The teacher enters His class, plans in place Ready to help.
He helps his students, With words of praise
He readies his students With pencils, paper, and notes.
Doing everything To prepare for This test
The students figet In their worn seats Ready to begin
The paper is down And the students Rush, prepared.
The teacher sits, And watches his Hurried class.
The knowledge That the outcomes Are by his doing.
But the teacher Know's he's done His very best.
And that's why These lucky Students
Will pass this Challenging Test.
