Tears of Whatever

My hazel eyes

cloud over

with pain

 

Salty tears

shimmer and

fall from

my eyes

 

Those tears

streak down

my cheeks

 

Leaving firey

trails in

their wake

 

My throat

burns from

these sobs

escaping my lips

 

I don't

know why

I cry

 

It just

felt right

at the time

 

These tears

I cry

are tears

of whatever.

Powerfully emotional write. I admit, that I am sensitive and cry easily. It was also a uniquely cool poem since most people don't really explain tears. You did and I applaud you for being different! Lol. Great write! :)

A lot of pieces (mine included) seem to use and express feelings as if they were something planned. This shows how true feelings are spontaneous, and even though sad, this piece shows how the true beauty of being human happens in the fragments of seconds where our actions are something we can't explain. Great write.
