What a lifeA Chapter by Miss Sally SunshineSeth lead me through his house, and up into his bedroom. Which happenes to be the whole third floor!!!!
"Just sit tight for a minute. I'll get you some clean clothes." Seth whispered.
"Okay." I whisper back. Seth starts to quietly desend the stairs.
I look around his room. First, it's huge! As I said before it's the whole third floor of his house.
The walls are about the same color as his hair, and he has hard wood floors with a rug on it that's the same color. HIs bed is pretty big, and it's on a stand, with drawers in the stand part. There are some posters, but they'rer all about a band I have never heard off. And his entire room was clean!!!! But my favorite part of his whole room? He had a library. It dominated about half of his room! And in a little corner he has two chairs that are just perfect in a library!! Could this house get any better? It's what my dream house looks like!!!
It was just at that moment that Seth came back into the room. "Hi." he whispered, as he closed the door.
"Hi." I said back, speaking at normal volume.
"Here." Seth handed me some clothes. "You can get changed in here. I'll just step outside."
I nodded, so Seth opened the door and stepped outside, and then closed the door behind him.
I kicked off my remaining flat, I lost the other one when they caught me. I didn't try to pull my dress off carefully, because it was to far from help.
I slipped into the clothes Seth brought for me, which consisted off a pair of kaki pants, which were too long so I rolled them up to my knees. A red plaid flannel shirt, I also rolled up the sleeves on that, and a pair of black converses.
I walked over and pulled open the door. Seth was sitting down on the top step. "Hey." I whispered. He turned to me, he was smiling. "Hey." he repeated.
He stood up. "Well, it's time for you to meet the family, and get some breakfast, because I'm starving."
I smirked. "Why are guys always worried about their stomach?"
Seth smirked back. He took my hand in his, and led me down the stairs.

When we got down to the first floor a smell started to tickle my nose, and make my mouth water. Chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. Best. Breakfast. Ever.
I could tell that Seth was hungry, because he started to walk a little bit faster, and I was keeping pace with him.
We practically ran into the kitchen. There was a tall, slim woman standing in front of the stove. She had blonde hair that flowed down to her lower back, and she had the same eyes as Seth.
"Hi mum." Seth said, as he waltzed over to the stove. He tired to take a piece of bacon, but she hit his hand with her spatula.
"Hey!!" he yelled jumping back. I giggled.
Seth's mom turned to face me. "Oh thank god!" she yelled. I looked closer at her. She had a slim face, but round cheeks, and she had full lips, but they were still thin, and they were a red color. I was sure that she wasn't wearing make-up, and she didn't need it.
She walked over and gave me a big hug. "I saw you in that cage! And I knew we had to get you out!" she said. "You can call me Melissa."
I nodded. "My name is Jade." I said. I almost said Jada. OHMYGOD!!!!! I forgot all about Nolan and Ava! "Do you have a phone I can use?" I asked, as calmly as I could.
"Yup, it's in the other room." Melissa motioned with her hand. I ran to the phone. I dailed Ava's cell phone. Be on, please be on, I wished in my head.
I heard a click then a gruff voice said "Hello?"
"AVA!" I screamed into the phone.
"Jade?!" she yelled back.
"Yeah it's me!!" I said.
"Oh my God!" I could hear Ava crying into the phone. There was some noise then Nolan's voice came on. "Kiddo? Are you alright? Where are you?"
"Hi Nol. I'm okay. I don't know where I am, but I was rescued by some really nice people, and yeah." I said into the phone.
"Okay, we're coming to get you." Nolan said.
I hesitated. I didn't want to leave. Not yet anyway. "Nol, I don't know where I am." I repeated.
"Well ask then people you're with!" Nol yelled. But I didn't want to leave, not yet. I just got here! And I wanted to know more about Seth.
"Nol, just give me some more time here, please. It's my dream house, Nol. You know how much I love my dream house." I begged into the phone.
I could picture Nolan fighting with himself, and as ususal he gave. "Fine. One week. Then, we're coming to get you." Nolan growled.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I yelled into the phone. I blew him a kiss, and he just sighed.
"You know, blowing a kiss into the phone is extremely inaffective." He said.
I giggled. "I know. Bye bye!" I said and hung up. My stomach was not growling anymore, it was yelling.
I skipped back into the kitchen, and I was attacked by two little people.
"Hi!" the little girl chripped as she clung to my leg. "Hey." the little boy said.
"Hayden! Alena! Get off of her!" Seth yelled, as he grabbed both of their arms and yanked them off my legs.
I just laughed. "Seth? Are these two your siblings?" I asked.
Seth nodded sheepishly. Alena stepped forward.
"I'm Alena. That's Hayden. We're twins." she said proudly. I knelt down to her height.
"Really? And how old are you?" I asked, trying to stiffle a giggle.
"We're six. But I'm older!" Alena yelled.
"By four minutes!!" Hayden yelled back at her.
Alena turned around and stuck her tounge out at Hayden, and he did the same.
I was cracking up, and Seth was totally red. "Come on. Let's get some breakfast."
"Okay, great! My stomach is yelling at me." I said with a smirk.
Seth walked over to a cupboard and took out four plates. He put two pancakes on two of the plates, and one pancake on the other two plates. He hefted all the plates up with bacon.
"I hope the two pancakes are for us." I teased as I picked up two of the plates, and followed Alena and Hayden into the dinning room.
Seth scoffed. "Of course not! Their for the twins."
I stuck my tounge out at Seth, like Alena, and like Hayden, he stuck his tounge out at me.
I could believe how at ease I was with Seth's whole family! It was like I fit in just perfectly!
I sat down next to Hayden, and across from Seth. Alena plopped down right next to Seth, and dug right into her bacon. She picked up three pieces and started to munch on all of them at the same time.
Hayden, was a mess eater as well. The second he started eating he got chocolate all over his face, and bacon grease all over his hands.
I started to laugh, but then the need for food got the better of my. I dug into my pancakes ravenously. I'm pretty sure that I had a crazy look in my eyes as I ate.
When I finally took a breath, I looked up. Seth, Alena, and Hayden were all staring at me. "What?" I asked through a mouthful of food.
Seth just shook his head. "You were really hungry."
I nodded. "I haven't eaten since 8 o'clock yestarday."
They were all still staring at me, so I decided to really look at the twins. They both had the same color hair as Seth, but they both had light, but bright, blue eyes. They had short, cute, noses, and long eyelashes. They had full pink lips, and they had freckles dusted over there noses and their pink cheeks. Their faces were actually really pale though.
They were still staring at me. "You're pretty." Alena declared.
"Yup." Hayden agreed. I started to blush.
"Really pretty." Seth said with a smile. © 2011 Miss Sally SunshineAuthor's Note
