Unbelivably

Ava and I exchanged confused looks.

 

"Training?" I asked Luca.

 

He smiled a little bit wider. God, he's hot!

 

Avery answered before Luca could. "Yep. You three are special. I knew it as soon as I saw you, of course. You three have a kind of aurua about you."

 

Ava and I looked at each other again. "Three? What do you mean three?" Ava asked.

 

Avery stared at her. "Well your friend, of course."

 

"Nolan?" I asked.

 

Luca nodded. "Yep, Nolan. He already agreed to training, so now it's your turn."

 

Ava dropped my hand. "Wait, so like, we have superpowers?" she asked, scepical.

 

Avery nodded. "Yep." 

 

Ava flat out stared at hiim, with a look of total amazment. "You're a loony! You both are! Get the crap away from us! And Nol!"

 

Ava grabbed my arm and pulled her behind me.

 

Avery looked sad, like this had happened before.

 

Luca, on the other hand, just turned on the charm. "Ava, come on beautiful, just hear us out."

 

I just about melted. He looked so amazing, and hot! I trusted him. He wouldn't do anything to hurt us. "Ava," I whispered, "come on. Let's just listen to him."

 

I could feel Ava wavering. She was debating on weather or not saving herself, or trusting two incrediably hot guys.

 

She became cold Ava again. "It's too bad," she said to Avery.

 

"To bad what?" Avery asked.

 

Ava smirked. "It's to bad you're a loony, because you're cute."

 

The corners of Avery's mouth twitched up.

 

Ava had made up her mind, she wasn't listening.

 

It was at that exact moment that Nolan waltz through the unlocked door. He was whistling.

 

"Hey! Where are my girls? Not still sleeping I hope." he sang.

 

He walked into the kitchen to seen Luca hanging by the counter, Avery standing in the middle of the kitchen, Ava standing defiantly, and me standing behind her.

 

"What the HELL is going on!?" he asked.

 

Nolan rushed over and stood infront of Ava and myself. "Answer me." he growled at Avery and Luca.

 

"Well," Luca sighed, "we told them and well Ava freaked. Jade agreed to listen, but as I said, Ava freaked."

 

Nolan sighed. He turned to face us. He gave us both hugs. "I thought something was seriously wrong."

 

Ava stared at him. "There is something seriously wrong, Nolan! They're trying to convince us that we have like special abilities!" she yelled.

 

"Oh," Nolan said, "well, we do."

 

I was silently cheering on the inside! Nolan belived it to!

 

Ava stared at him. Then, she slapped him across the face, hard.

 

Nolan reeled back. 

 

"Ava!" I yelled in complete shock.

 

"A, calm down." Nolan said it forcefully, like he did with Luca at the skate park. "Listen." he said again, just as forcefully.

 

Ava closed her mouth, and stood in place, silently.

 

"Okay, well good. So, yes, we do have superpowers or "special abilities" as you put it." Nolan said. "I think I know what both your abilities are. but I'll have Avery explain."

Avery did explain. He thought that I had an ability connected to heat, and Ava had a abiltiy connected to ice, which actually explained a lot. Avery also though that Nolan was able to read minds and control emotions, which, again, explained a lot.

 

He explained that Luca was a charmer, and a shape shifter. He also explained that he could push/open anything he wanted by holding up his hands and willing it.

 

Ava still refused to belive it, though, I though it made perfect sense.

 

"This is all too unbeliveable for me." she said.

 

Nolan looked at her. "Well belive it, because it's true."

 

Luca had gone back to reading the paper as Avery talked, but he dragged his mind out of the paper and into the present long enough to say "Listen to Avery and Nolan. Oh, and we're going to have meetings so we can learn to control, and use our abilities." then he was gone again.

 

Ava took a sigh, she had finally given up. But as soon as I was done think that Ava glared at me. "No, I'm not giving up! I can just tell when I'm fighting a lost cause!"

 

Avery smiled at her again. "Well then it's settled. We'll meet at Nolan's house after you guys come home form school on friday."

 

And that was that. All in one moring we learned we had superpowers, and we were going to learn how to use then. Fantabulous!

This was the best chapter yet! Though I think that "superpower" is an overused word, unless they're going to become superheroes. Maybe you should use "ability" instead? Just a suggestion. But very, very good chapter.
