A Chapter by Miss Sally Sunshine

Before we wnet to the park I wanted to look really nice, so Ava came over and helped me look good.

I had on a turquiose halter top. The halter top was tight, so it showed of my flat stomach, and the fact that mother nature had smiled on me lately, if you know what I mean.

I had on a white short skirt on that wasn't tight, it swished when i walked, and it was a fun. It was ruffled on the bottom and it only came up to my hips, showing off a bit of my stomach.

I had on high heeled sandals. They were white, and they had straps that wound up half my calf. They made my legs look fantastic. If I wore real heels it would look like I was trying too hard, or like i was desperate.

Ava did my hair and make-up. She knew that black and natural colored make-up would make my hazel eyes pop.

She ringed my eyes with dark black eyeliner, and brushed on some mascara. With a quick flick over her wrists Ava dusted a soft pink eyeshadow over my eyelids. She swiped a light pinkish red lip gloss brush over my lips, leaving them pinker and shinnier.

Ava twisted my hair up into a bun a top my head, leaving a few chestnut strands to curl loosely by the sides of my face.

I thought I looked really good, until Ava got ready.

Ava pulled on a fitted purple sundress with a black belt hanging around her hips and the dress ended just above her knees. She had on her tall black combat boots. They went up higher than my sandals, just below her knees.

She ringed her eyes with even thicker eyeliner than she put on me, and she added a little swoop at the corner of her eye, making her look a little dangerous. She quickly swiped pitch black masacra through her eyelashes. She also spread a purpley pink lipstick over her lips. She looked like a model.

She spiked up her already short pixie hair. She had brightened the purple at the tips, so now there was three different shades of purple in her hair.

She looked amazing, and it made me feel extremely ugly. I wanted to cry but, that would wreck my make-up. So I put up a tough face and we went to the park.

This chapter could be merged with the next, probably. you DID use "applied" one too many times, so if you could substitute it with some other words, it would be a much better chapter. Gonna keep reading!

Good chapter, but I agree with Wilow. You did use the word "applied" too much so it clashes up the chapter a little bit.

One note, you use the word "applied" way too many times in this. I'm sure you know what I mean when I say that it can make even the best of writing sound awful. It messes with cadence and whatnot, so I suggest switching some words around. Otherwise, well done again. I can see where Jade fits, like the protected youngling, amongst an older flock. She feel insecure, and drives constantly to prove herself.
