Lights

Lights

A Poem by glorygrace&gold
"

a blazing celebration

"

Gold, green, blue, streamed.

Colors of all and every kind.

Ripped, shred, blown from the blinds.

Thrown, strewn, all of these lights.

Beautiful lights, beautiful dance.

Caught in the air of the pride filled France.

Flailing flags add to the wonder.

Just hope it doesn't rain or thunder.

It's a sparkling night for the beautiful lights.

Celebrating their faith, their country, and rights.

Laughter of those watching the wine blown cork.

Looks like a celebrating night at New York.

Blazing, breezing, sparkling with light.

These are the guides, the eyes of our night.

I don't usually like poems that rhyme but this is nice. Nice use of imagery.

Romans 8:24-27 says this: For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see we eagerly wait for .. more..
