Let's all Complain

Let's all Complain

A Poem by glorygrace&gold
"

no one is framed= no one is picture perfect.

"

What other miserable, hateful illusion shall we moan about today?

The aching sunrise, the tired moon, the lovely sun that shines so soon?

Shall we complain about the countless days that bring about the sunny rays?

Is it worth the time to worry about the ones we love most,

instead of spending time to love them more than it shows?

Shall we groan about the weather's unfortunate toll,

the parts you play, and every role,

every day, every minute, there is an enemy in need.

Shall we ignore their cries of help,

because it is what they did unto us, the same?

What a cruel, and unusual game...

Speak up, for the winds will hear.

They will listen when the time is near.

There is no other day to spend wasted, for this is your day to redeem yourself.

Because all are in need of redemption.  And what good works are in use of attention?

All the bad publicity brought out into fame, while the saints stand by, and think of disdain.

Just goes to show you, how no one is framed.

I very much enjoyed this poem. It is wonderful to view one's work making a point, calling out society's faults. The only aspect of the poem I would change is that the rhythm seems off throughout the piece, as if it randomly altered itself.

Romans 8:24-27 says this: For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see we eagerly wait for .. more..
