You Know The Prickling Rose

You Know The Prickling Rose

A Poem by glorygrace&gold
"

everyone has one of them...

"

You are like an exploding flower,

no one knows when you are ready to wilt,

no one knows when you are ready to blosom,

I never know when you just want to hate.

You put other flowers down,

the dandelions, the sunflowers,

you try to suck up everyone's rain showers.

You attempt to destroy their seedlings,

most of all, you hurt everyone's feelings.

You are a dying flower.

But when we push back, you cower.

You are a weakling in disguise.

You know its time to hide.

We never know what will hit us,

so you hit us with a passion.

Which everyone knows as hate.

but when you are alone and no one's on your side,

when you know, it will be too late.

You are the prickling rose,

eventually, you'll wilt with stress on your shoulders.

everytime you run us over, we ask why?

And then we are relieved with the sickening thought

that all flowers eventually die.

Romans 8:24-27 says this: For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see we eagerly wait for .. more..
