Who Are You?

Who Are You?

A Poem by glorygrace&gold

2 years ago, I would have never guessed,

because of all the days I worshipped you,

from now on, I know because I confessed,

I will not ever find out what is true.

I can try to rediscover my soul,

I can try to change what was wrong,

though I still cannot point out my own life role,

maybe there was nothing to change all along.

For all that time, I tried to find myself in you,

but there are so many other places to look,

there are so many other things I could do,

instead of trying to be you, all that it took.

My power has weakened, my days are outnumbered,

so if I had known before, I would have slumbered.

I would have rested me, instead of pulling my strings,

trying to copy what's you, and tying up my inner things.

For so long I could not do,

For so long I could not see,

I know not what may be you,

so for once, I will be me.

this is wonderful! I love how it ended. I believe the intro and ending are the most important part of any writing and you deff nailed that ending. great work!
as far as criticism goes i'd just say make it more clear WHO you were trying to be before deciding to be yourself.
other than that, great great job. :D
