Prom DressA Poem by glorygrace&goldprom is just another amazing night to make the rest feel left out.Everyone's busy around you, scurrying and bumping past you. Getting ready for the big night, they say it's gonna be a wild ride. The band geeks are coming too, as you and friends are trying to, expensive tickets will faze not one, though it may not be worth, in the long run. Pretty girls in pretty dresses, giggling, laughing, as you are invisible. Handsome men asking handsome women, as you can see, no one's miserable. But there's always one, and you, my friend, just happen to be so, the acne-prone, the skinny, frizzy-haired girl, who doesn't seem to grow. You can be rich, you can buy 2 tickets for the man who isn't real, you can buy a gorgeous dress, and still, that won't cut the deal. Because, although, you may have all the money in a bundled mess, you're still the quiet, ugly girl in a pretty dress. © 2009 glorygrace&gold |
