Enmity

Enmity

A Poem by glorygrace&gold
"

en⋅mi⋅ty [en-mi-tee] noun, plural. -hatred

"

there is a time for mourning, a time for grief,

a day for enjoyment, pleasures, and relief.

but comes one night, a feeling of hostility,

brings forth the vengeance sought from enmity,

pure anomisty, hatred, which toys with our minds,

its evil, what is from under, is what sees us blind.

We are rag dolls, blinded by hatred, seeing all what is evil,

although the good is forgotten.

The purity of life is left ungrateful for.

Instead, we ask for more.

We take what is left, and grasp at what is not ours,

then with bad news brings out our enmity

which was not rightfully ours to find misery

in something that was unworthy of hate to begin with.

what is hate, what is happiness as well,

and we can not always be happy, for only time will tell.
