Up

Up

A Poem by glorygrace&gold

Flying high, leaves up to my knees, spirit in the air, no it's not fair.

I'm living a fantasy, in reality, it's misery.  It's tragic, how pathetic.

Because I want to fly, I want to be up in the sky, I want to spread my wings,

but then the bell rings and I'm back to the ground.  To the land I am tied.

Then I'm up for a ride.  I may be up in my dreams, if that's what it seems,

I may be up in the clouds, in the atmosphere's winds, It may be no sin,

but to feel so damn good, it feels so great to be here.  It feels so great to be up.

It feels so good to be up so damn high.  To feel so good, it's gotta be a lie.

To be up here in the sky, oh my God, what a ride.
