Broken Chords

Broken Chords

A Poem by glorygrace&gold

A picture worth a thousand words

is a moment caught under an angel's tears

a lullaby snagged by the winds and limbs

the first song of the heavens you hear.

Only a few more weeks til the heaven bells ring

as you lay on your deathbed, cancer's got you by the neck,

leaving red marks all over your neck.

Seeping blood out your slits, although your life was a train wreck.

Every puzzle piece will fit.

A picture worth a thousand words,

although each one comes out absurd,

every lullaby sounded by broken chords,

baby steps or bleeding sores.

A music note discovered one day

may end up being God's gracious way,

so don't leave this world without a chord,

because what do you know?  You'll be grasping for more.

Romans 8:24-27 says this: For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see we eagerly wait for .. more..
