A Poem by Joseph LaBarge
"

a conversation on self acceptance

"

I say

“ I wish I could paint like that”

And he says

“No , no you don’t, that guy never made s**t, all he got for that was a messed up ear, a bullet in his belly, and an std from painting hookers, that what he got for painting like that. But this you see this here, this piece of s**t that looks like one of your little friends drew it, this chick being eaten out by a goat, you know what that guy got for that, over 7 million dollars, that what he got for that. So just paint however you paint and be glad you have all of your parts.”
