News Flash: Funerals

News Flash: Funerals

A Poem by Joseph LaBarge

the pope is dead at 89

and Johnny Cochrane slips into the darkness

along with the lady on the news

was her souls still inside

and the world mourns

at least for now

waiting for the new heroes

and the world wonders

what ever happened

to JohnnyCochrane

I checked out the Pope's cadaver and was mortified by a spiritless stiff wasted. The jaws of darkness took him to a sable-vested night. but Johnny Cochrane went to reward, a heavenly body somewhere in the universe.

In other news, our new heroes have become Jet-li make-believe, hoagies, and a submarine sandwich.
