I woke up in your bed

I woke up in your bed

A Poem by Lydia Waldock

I woke up in your bed don't even know how I got there
I woke up in your bed we dreamt of nothing
I woke up in your bed, you don't even know my name  but I woke up in your bed

the smell of regret in morning mixes well with the joint

is this the walk of shame? or was it walking up in your bed
No it wasn't in the falling asleep in your bed
it was the grasping of the sheets, the torn dress, the bruised thigh
thats where the shame and regret brew under the guise of loving lust
I was on the floor but I woke up in your bed
