Nothing more to itA Poem by Lydia Waldock
Looking back at it
There’s nothing more than walking trees Mossy grounds Soft stepping stones Nothing more to the sky Than the crystal dome moons And freckle specked stars And galaxies that know no bounds The artistry of the gods Displays on the godless canvas of this earth Bodies that are not our own with Souls connected There’s nothing more to it Walk among the moving trees, breathe in spoken wind, tread loudly on the moss Never let the camouflage galaxies leave our skin © 2019 Lydia WaldockReviews
