Nothing more to it

Nothing more to it

A Poem by Lydia Waldock

Looking back at it
There’s nothing more than walking trees
Mossy grounds
Soft stepping stones

Nothing more to the sky
Than the crystal dome moons
And freckle specked stars
And galaxies that know no bounds

The artistry of the gods
Displays on the godless canvas of this earth
Bodies that are not our own with
Souls connected

There’s nothing more to it
Walk among the moving trees, breathe in spoken wind, tread loudly on the moss
Never let the camouflage galaxies leave our skin

Amazing use of description dear Lydia. I believe, when we can. Be free to fall into the night, be able to see the gifts of nature. Painted memories upon our minds and heart. I liked the dance of words. I did enjoy the poetry and thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
