Innocent

Innocent

A Poem by Lydia Waldock
"

I haven’t posted in awhile but I’ve still been writing!!

"
Have my lures of moans and sighs caught up to me?
Has the sins finally reached my throat
Half a world crumbled around me at my own dismay
Have I not grasped the concept of living yet?
Or do I continue down roads of misuse and flawlty lies
Born and drawn a painted saint with devils wings
Innocence is so violent in the wrong hands
Have I allured to this loving lust
Sweating bodies and broken nails
When my time on earth catch up to me
I’ll have my steady breaths waiting to be ripped away from me
Heaven and hell is the road within me the paths I’ve done

Baby tell me I’m angelic
Baby say that you worship me
I’ll lose myself before you use me again
Convinced you I was all this and sane
