What Holds?

What Holds?

A Poem by Botania
"

"
What holds our spirits up so high?
What buoys intentions afflicted nigh?
I watch the world and you pass by.
What holds us all aground?
Watch the tender sapling roots
take hold in soil, become a roof
a canopy of panoplied leaves
to hold a world of life
What holds it all up in the sky
where reason for it may surprise?
I know the answer, reason why....
God, my God, how he delights.
