Too Many Books

Too Many Books

A Poem by Botania
"

"
Today I cleaned a small bookcase.
Noted sizes, rearranged.
Thought of who I'd give them to
share them when
they've been read through.
Still like the heft of real life things
flat screens, shoestrings, can't complain.
Sometimes I like to smell them, too
I know it's odd
so how 'bout you?
Do you like your dinner real
or only pictures you can feel?
Do you like the great outdoors
or only texting on the floor?
I like them all, but as you see
too many books have thus found me!
Sitting on my little shelf
precious, perfect ....
Note to self:
Read tomorrow. So it be
a day for reading.
Seriously!
