Shadow at NoonA Poem by Botaniayou
Above my head at height of noon
comes a shadow to make me swoon fills my head and weakens knees finds me asking, saying please Around surround and warm to touch fills my heart and knows so much. Imaginary though he be the shadow is but leaves of tree twisted arms that come round me will linger there in canopy.
