Lowly

Lowly

A Poem by Botania
"

me

"
May I tie your shoe or wash your feet?
May I serve you in some way?
May I please divulge the light
on any given day?
Mine is not the strange, confused.
Mine is not the moneyed.
Mine is just the often used
two hands and heart that's sunny.
I believe in you, you see,
in all that you can do.
I believe in all the things
that goodness brings us to.
Humbly now I bow my head
beseeching of the world
know the kindness of a heart,
the shyness of a girl.
Know the heart of servant's service
humble though it be
will rule the world and give to you
God's great love and mercy.
