Crystalline Time

Crystalline Time

A Poem by Botania
"

.

"
A thousand lights will pass around
fill the air without a sound
Which way will they spin again
with your preference or the wind's?

Spun we are unto the world
making life a vicious swirl.
Round we go and back again.
Lucky when we keep a friend.

So much to do, so little time.
Nowhere to go. Nowhere to hide
But skip a rock upon a cloud
watch the colors swirl around.

Then gather up the crystal parts
of fragile life and fragile hearts.
Internalize the wide procession
moving forwards. No regression.

Linear time will teach us all.
Dreamers left by quiet walls.
Only realists step ahead,
Acknowledging, we surely dread.

Yes linear time will lead the way,
march about our heads and stay,
pausing on a memory,
standing still when life's complete.

Completed colors in my head
every color that is shed
form complete this imagery.
Time is 'still'  ...in memory.
