Angels with a Broken Wing

Angels with a Broken Wing

A Poem by Botania

Arm in arm
they comfort me
Round and round
as in a dream
Two entwined
as life should be
Bound on Earth
with broken wings.

Hey Botania, me again.

You say you're referring to something particular here? I don't really see it. It reminds me of children playing ring around the rosey, but not statues, so perhaps if you added more of a poetic exposition about the scene and really bring us into the moment you'd get more of an image invoked and be able to suggest with adjectives the sort of discrepancy that hasn't lost it's charm.
