Woven Grasses

Woven Grasses

A Poem by Botania

Trail through deep
and softest ground
tramples grass
that grows around.
Swishing this way
falling that
succumbs to pressure
makes a mat
of silken gold
upon the earth
where feet will trod
from life to dearth.
