Eventide

Eventide

A Poem by Botania

I hang from every word you speak

like moonbeams from the moon

Every sigh a new one seek

like shadows hide at noon

I wait beside the bonny spring

collecting wayward sighs

all to find the leeward brings

thoughts of you with tide.
