A Journey

A Journey

A Poem by Botania

A journey of
a hundred miles
takes me where
the cranes are.
I'd rather travel
to such rare site
'cause caged
or clipped
don't fly far.

This poem has a real Zen quality. I greatly enjoyed this journey to see the cranes. All life fades away, and there is only the pond full of cranes. Beautiful moment of serenity.
